About

Hi! I’m Amal — an INTJ-T driven by curiosity, logic, and a touch of creative chaos. My mind often feels like a moving library full of ideas, questions, and “what-ifs.” I’m currently studying ICT at Fontys University of Applied Sciences as a Delta Excellence student, building at the intersection of science, data, and intelligent systems.

02

Computational Science

Projects in computational biology, machine learning, and scientific data systems.

I’m deeply interested in biomedical informatics and computational biology; using data and machine learning to understand complex systems, from molecular networks to large-scale health data. I’ve worked on computer vision and contributed to processing Euclid mission data for the European Space Agency (ESA). On this website, you’ll find my projects in scientific computing and intelligent systems.

03

Writing

Notes, essays, reflections.

Writing has always been how I organize my thoughts. I published my first book at 12 and continue to write, from fiction to non-fiction and academic work. This space is my archive of ideas, reflections, and ongoing explorations.

04

Gontor

Where discipline, faith, and independence were shaped.

In 2023, I graduated from Darussalam Gontor; a boardingschool in Indonesia that is known for its unique values, discipline and leadership. Gontor was a transformative experience that shaped my character, work ethic, and worldview.

05

Volunteering

Besides writing & computer science, I spend my free time actively volunteering.

Besides tech and writing, I dedicate my time to volunteering with communities that support children from diverse cultural backgrounds. I teach, mentor, and help organize community events, and I find it deeply rewarding to watch them grow in confidence and curiosity.
