Hey there! You found this page, welcome and have a peek inside my little space. Let me tell you more about it.
The human brain.
It’s absolutely fascinating. It is a complex, beautiful, phenomenal piece that every human being owns, and uses in such different ways. It has been the machine behind so many great inventions, but also stupid ones. It all comes from the thoughts tangled up in one’s brain, and it is absolutely beautiful to me.
Did I scare you off? I hope not! Why am I talking about brains? Besides the fact I am obviously invested in them, I, myself, have a very messy one. I like to think of my brain as a beautiful piece of chaos. If you could take a look inside it, it would probably look like a huge library with bookshelves everywhere, papers flying, drawers half open, ideas bouncing around. A beautiful mess of thoughts, stories, and “what-ifs.” Writing has always been my way of sorting that chaos. I started as soon as I could hold a pen, published my first book at twelve, and somehow ended up writing twelve more across three languages, from fiction to motivation to science.
So this little space here, is basically my brain, unfiltered: stories, half-baked theories, late-night essays, random what-ifs, and the occasional rant about the universe. I don’t promise structure, but I do promise honesty, curiosity, and a touch of chaos.
My name is Amal, by the way, which is arabic for “hope”, and I like to think of myself as a hopeful and faithful person. I’m 20 years old and live in the Netherlands. But this website is not all about me- it’s mostly about my brain and everything inside it. And that’s enough for an introduction, because I hope you have fun exploring this website and have a peek inside my mind, and maybe, you can find your own thoughts in it, too!
So grab a cup of something, wander around, and don’t mind the open drawers.
Welcome to my mess! I hope it inspires you to make your own.
